    Yes, apparently there’s a new cosmetic surgery technique called deep lift. And this is the result.

      Looking at before and after images of this procedure and it looks pretty freaking incredible to be honest with you. Expensive af though.

        It looks less fake than other facial surgeries I’ve seen, but there is still an amuse bouche of uncanniness to it. And with the uncanny valley, less is literally more. Ymmv

          I’m guessing before and after images will usually show success stories only, eh. Because those looked great. Would like to see a relatively botched example.

                I’m not that squeamish, I’ve seen the Substance for example. We probably grew up on the same internet. It’s just a headspace thing right now, I need to keep it cute today.

                  The Substance wasn’t exactly bad in that regard. Yeah we probably did. 😅 Lots of gore videos in the early internet. But I respect your headspace.

                  I’m fine with gore, e.g., but I still really dislike needles. 😆
