I’m a big XCOM fan, and I love that you have a Vigilo Confido patch.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's that video game boss you've never been able to beat, or took you the longest to beat?
4·2 days agoI fought Demon of Hatred like a dark souls boss rather than a Sekiro boss. Lots of dodging. I’m sure there was a better way.

They’re allowed the occasional work-from-home days.
How euphoric (do people still make that joke?)

4·2 days agoNo other FromSoft game could have a final fight as challenging as in Sekiro, because in the other titles, they had to consider a range of levels or builds that players would reach the end with. In Sekiro, they could really push the player.

29·2 days agoI’m pathologically stubborn and will stick with just about any game until I beat it, but Isshin the Sword Saint (Sekiro) took me a long time.
Both are good, but a wool flatcap can usually be dressed up a bit if you ever need it to be.

6·3 days agoI’ve been interested in doing this same project. I don’t have any ideas yet unfortunately, but I’d also like to hear what others have done.
They can also choose to intentionally make slightly less money if there’s something they want to do first, or spend resources/time on stuff that doesn’t bring in revenue. In a publicly traded company, the investors can sue for mishandling their investment.

Why do I feel like the ones left holding the bag are going to be the taxpayers/residents somehow?
There seems to be a significant quality gap between publicly traded and private gaming companies.

This is why I could never be a streamer.
