Annoyingly, its on one of the most common pihole/adblocker lists, and I could never find a legitimate reason for why it is.
Anonymous file uploaders are pretty commonly abused to distribute malware so considering how popular catbox is that’s probably how it got on there.
The thing is, there are much worse services, that serve malware ads, that aren’t on the same lists.
