I think that person is an asshole for stopping on the crosswalk, but I have no authority to do anything about it and move on.

I’d probably not even notice. But I live in Italy and I’ve seen some shit.

I got similar situation in a cul-de-sac around my area. There is a sidewalk going through and people like to park their car right in the middle of it.

I just do small stuff like bending out rear wiper or bending front passenger’s external mirror. People do be getting the memo.

One thing that has always sent me into an absolute rational rage is cunts in cars blocking sidewalks and pedestrian passageways.

and now that I have family in wheelchairs and on walkers, that rational rage has become about 30x more intense, to the point that I have to physically stop myself from bricking their windshields.

Ceramic spark plug pieces work very well at shattering tempered glass and are a lot more mobile and concealable than bricks.

It’s a tough one honestly, because you never know if its someone that’s generally a considerate person but had to park for an emergency… Or if it’s just a general asshole on a standard day.

Judging by the car make and model though (all black Tesla), I’d lean towards the latter.

Mild annoyance and then continue with my day. If I’m really annoyed report it to whoever issues the parking fines in the area.

My city has a sick app for reporting these sorts of things! Just snap a photo and it tags the location and uses OCR to get the license plate number.

would be annoying for the tesla owner if whoever bumped into the car had no identifying features or clothes, so the car cameras can’t be used to identify the person

Possibly committing felony vandalism for a parking violation. Does not seem reasonable.

Neither does giving your money to buy a car that owns you and your data, supporting a sociopath psycho rapist.

And, you can’t fight something unreasonable with reason. You fight it with whatever uses the least energy, because douchebags are not worthwhile to fight fairly or morally.

I won’t be held to high moral standards while fighting another guy with no standards at all.

Indeed. I like that someone actually brought up invoking local road authority. It’s unfortunate that many places don’t have a decent mechanism for that, and we need it badly.

I would consider walking over it, figure out it’s not worth triggering the alarm and making a scene, then ultimately ignore it

I called parking enforcement on this one. Right in front of the job site drive. We don’t come here everyday, but when we do, it’d be nice to be able to pull in. They called me when they got to the car and asked if I wanted it toed. I said that they do it all the time but just give a warning, because it’s the first time I’ve called. Next time, it’s gone.

Nicer than I would have been. I would have told them hell yeah, please tow it. I don’t think people should get a “freebie” for something this egregious.

Nah. Everything in the background is perfect, including the sign and pile of wood debris.

Not AI, if that’s what you were implying.
