Wow, really? I’d never heard a slogan in a foreign language before. It must vary by country
I was abroad recently. At the radio I got an ad for a company from my country. At the end of the ad, they said their slogan… in their own language. How do you expect people to get your slogan if it’s in a language they don’t speak!?
1·41 minutes agoI think it wasn’t just distraction from the Epstein files. It was also a way to manipulate the stock market. I.e. buy stocks, start a war that will raise those stocks as a side effect, then sell them. I just have no way to prove it

The reason why I disagree is that commenters don’t always have the full picture. When I already know exactly what I need, receiving many comments, but none helpful, is exhausting. Sometimes it’d be nice to have help on a specific problem without having to convince strangers of every other choice I made in the path.
An example: I’ve seen people on Reddit ask for help with Linux drivers and be told to buy new hardware entirely. Or ask if a dumbphone supports Whatsapp, and be told to ditch it by Americans who think it’s just another social network that you can opt out of.
As well as huge progress in Blender’s development!

I don’t mind that, but what I do mind is that the advertised premise of the fediverse (one account for all socials) is kind of a lie
The way it’s presented on jointhefediverse.net makes it seem like you can use one account across all federated socials. But it’s more one account for each social, across all instances of that social, with some interoperability
I would consider walking over it, figure out it’s not worth triggering the alarm and making a scene, then ultimately ignore it
