I do top -> 6 hours it keeps it fresher
Top 6 for all, new for subscribed, works for me.
Top 12 first thing in the morning, top 6 after 2pm, hot after that; new for subscribed.

My problem is rhe slow burners dont make it in, meaning you miss many current events. I now use Top Week because “You didn’t hear about …?!?”
I set Voyager to auto-hide on read. Top 24hrs has more content than I can read in a day that way.
