Yeah, i figured it was probably under priced with our current host, but im not looking to balloon costs 4-5x or something when switching to a new host, hopefully. I’d like fully managed if possible, but yeah, another thought was including people who could look at things in my stead, though I don’t really have a list of people i’m aware of who i could recruit.

They also recently did a reprint of the first ~5 or so books in paperback. One of the neat things they did with the reprints is they’ve included dice rolls at the bottom of every page, so instead of needing to use dice, you can flip to a random page instead and use that as your roll.

I mean, that was essentially the point of the spell plague. It was just a cataclysm to explain why mechanics were so different due to 4e. It’s basically like in comics when they want to reboot they do a big cataclysm to justify resetting

As a DM, thinking on your toes has been invaluable. The ability to come up with ideas, explanations, and more on the fly has helped a lot at work in meetings when unexpected things come up.

You can actually promote a pawn to any other piece as well (rook, bishop, knight, etc.), this is known as underpromotion. It’s mostly a “why would you ever do that?” thing, though.

Fwiw - an air fryer and a convection oven are basically the same thing. In fact, “air fryer” is just a renamed and shrunk down convection oven for branding/sales purposes.

My air fryer is an air fryer microwave combo, and it has the ability to turn on the air fryer and the microwave at the same time, which is an amazing feature.

You can cook food like a frozen lasagna in it, and it comes out like you cooked it in the oven in something like 1/3rd the time.

I mean, blob (and object storage in general) has been used as a term for a long time. It isn’t particularly new, and MS didn’t invent it.

if you’re just looking for it to fit in your pocket, i have a zendure brand one that is barely bigger than a credit card in its dimensions, but its 10k mah, 45W. It’s about an inch tall. I know it’s not 5,000 like you are asking, but might fit the bill size wise

Yeah, firefox doesnt support H.265 it looks like from some googling. Not exactly sure how other people are getting it to work, but it does look like there’s some extensions for firefox to toss the media streams to VLC instead, that could work for you.

MP4 is just a container, the specific audio/video streams can be one of several different codecs, and if you don’t have the codec used it won’t work. If you can identify the encoding you could probably just download a codec and be good to go.

As someone with no special insight into the internal workings, and who didnt watch trevor noah’s DS too much, or know much about noah himself, i’ve honestly been pretty convinced that the problems with TN DS doesn’t really have anything to do with trevor specifically, but i’m reasonably sure that comedy central took jon stewart leaving as an opportunity to “tame” the writing on the show.

I feel like comedy central wanted to pull the show back from leaning too far left to appeal to a wider audience.

What i mean by that, is where jon stewart might tear into a political figure for the way they stand on some particular issue he disagrees with, trevor’s daily show would like…make fun of their hair/clothes, or some other “safe” joke that doesn’t get too political.

And noah, unfairly, probably takes all the blame for this, even though i’m quite sure this is on the studio heads and was outside his control.
