I observed this during a recent thunderstorm and thought it was cool. I’m pretty sure the solar panel is providing just enough power for a few moments of light.
It’s nice to see that EM fluctuations and local ambient static electricity are doing something other than fucking up my Wi-Fi. It really helps reinforce the idea that this is an “us” problem not a “me” problem.
Assuming the light really was being powered by the flash from the lightning this is a pretty crazy demo of just how little power LEDs consume.
Spooky
Okay wait – did you see the weird figure? You all saw that.
I don’t think OP added it. I slowed it down, and it was still there.
Going to need a freeze and enhance to know what you are talking about
Can you screenshot it?
I’m not sure I understand what you are talking about
Do you mean Ba’al Zabub? Yeah, saw him.
Right before the foreground light turned off, and for a second after. The tiny thing with glowing eyes. Frog sized, in the undergrowth. Very cute.
This is how horror movies start
What’s the light at the top?
I think it’s lightning.
