“Never make a decision when you need to pee.”
I read that as “Never make the decision when to pee” and was very worried for your surroundings.
Don’t go grocery shopping when you’re hungry
Especially if you need to pee!
I actually shop for groceries way better when I’m hungry. If I’ve recently eaten, I have trouble imagining myself enjoying anything I’m going to buy, even if I eat it often. I’ve actually compared my hauls after shopping hungry vs shopping full: shopping on a full stomach my bags are noticeably emptier with less variety, and more unhealthy stuff. When shopping hungry I buy way more fruits, vegetables, some slightly adventurous ingredients, and in general much more interesting items that I’m more likely to enjoy in a few days.
But to each their own, I think I’m the outlier here.
That happens.
That’s why I tend to make the list while I am hungry.
We can also train ourselves to be quicker and more efficient if you hold it until you complete the task. (Only train at home so the boss doesn’t benefit from some of the health downsides)
except for “where should I pee?”
When urine a hurry, your bladder decides for you :P
In general, never make hasty big decisions when you are:
- Hungry
- Angry
- Horny
- Need to pee/poop
Damn, we really have a brief time to make smart decisions.
I’ve actually tried to live by the opposite. I wouldn’t buy a house with a full bladder, but I think it improves the quality of snap decision making.
A friend and I used to track our Overwatch ranked results based on how badly we needed to pee. It wasn’t very useful data, but it was funny.
If you actually had this thought in the shower, at least the condition doesn’t last long.
Is there a soundbite that sounds like “masturbate, then re-evaluate”?
Like “urinate then negotiate” or “pissing before purchasing”
I don’t know, I’m shit at these
This reminds me of “don’t grocery shop on an empty stomach”
That one’s true, I always buy so many unnecessary things.
you’re wiser during post-pee clarity
Never whistle while you’re pissing
If I know I am going to have to make a big decision, I put on my thinking diapers.
