Ground source heat pumps are the best, that goes without saying, but not everyone has room for them. As for air source are, they’re still far far better than a combi boiler. Like 300+% more.

Put heat pumps in all of them, problem solved and you cut out gas requirements exponentially, bringing us one step closer to energy independence.

To be fair, most people don’t need gas. A forward thinking government would convert everyone to heat pumps out of it’s own pocket. Within 50 years it’d pay itself off and in the meantime we’d be close to energy independence.

I’m not sure how that would look? We have companies selling both solar roofs and batteries in the UK and he doesn’t own any land for power generation. Even as a supplier, it’s a very saturated market. I mean, he’s a dickhead, but he’s not the boogie man.

I’m with you. My curiosity has me looking at it, but he’s very much unscrupulous and only out to make profit. Especially given the troubles he’s put his car business into.
