Appears to be some kind of Leica M, so could easily could be over $10k of kit.

Still feels weird without Ken Block.

For me, it’s really two things. The first, the app is a bloated mess. Between videos, podcasts, and just tons of promotions, it’s become a chore to just open up the app and start playing music. Secondly, it’s just been getting expensive honestly. Annual price increases are crazy to me when the service is getting worse. Their lossless roleout was also a let down between delays and lower quality than competing services.

Nearly fainted because I thought this was a new “iphone nano” phone, but alas it’s just an insanely overpriced case strap.

Who asked for this? So much for user led design.

There are privacy preserving biometrics, as well as ways to determine age without breaching privacy or requiring identity, but you’re right none of the big platforms are using those methods.

Saw what you will about blue laws, but this os a great example of “laws are only worth a damn if we’re willing to enforce them.”
I loved him in Home Movies as the bully.
Reading the article, the defendant requested his phone from a detective, unlocked it in front of and with the knowledge the detective was watching. Later when the detective was inspecting the phone, he used the password he had seen the defendant use previously to unlock the phone. So it’s not as bad as a cop forcing you to unlock the phone. Good to know that in New Jersey police departments are considered public spaces and treat them accordingly.

This tracks as shelbyville always advocated for cousin marriage, leading to the eventual rift with Jebediah Springfield.

This is somehow more cringe than when Tim Cook waved the checkered flag at the Austin formula 1 race.

Fwiw the mayoral election that resulted in Eric Adams was ranked choice.

Same boat, don’t even have a Reddit account any longer, and I’ve noticed an uptick in content that is login-only, so even more reason to not even visit the site.

Kinda an incendiary headline when it’s just Mastercard complying with the law. From the article: “The federal government considers cannabis sales illegal, so these purchases are not allowed on our systems,” Really the issue is that Marijuana should be legal at the federal level.

Light rail is good too, but NJT buses and trains are brutal.
…so far…
