Example: “most respondents (86%) did not believe that homelessness could be solved by increased law enforcement to keep people from sleeping outdoors on public property.”
1·4 months agoBlinking is superior. Without blinking, you could be staring for up to a minute at the clock unsure if time is moving or even if it exists. Theblink immediately tells you that time is working.
Simple fix: use a strip of electrical tape over your eyes

I think the easiest approach to anarchism is searching for Chomsky talking about it.
This is correct. If society becomes a place where a few people are running everything by force it is not anarchy, even if technically there are no written down laws. A lot of anarchist philosophy is about how to achieve and maintain anarchy without it devolving back into hierarchical power structures. There are a lot of different ideas that have spawned their own subgenre of anarchy. I personally think some checks and balances combination of unions and community councils is the most likely to succeed. This is anarcho-syndicalism.
How would it work? If I had to guess he will use a giant hammer, or maybe a cute flower that squirts water.

51·2 years agoThe thing that saved my sanity when my hyper pit bull was that age was a laser pointer. Id stand in the backyard in the evening and he would chase it for like 60 minutes or more until he couldnt move his body.
I don’t think thats true. Housing prices are high everywhere, I have friends and family in the midwest their shit is out of control too. New York and San Fran are the most extreme for sure but costs of renting or buying have like tripled everywhere over the last decade
