I played lots of Diablo 2 back then and a friend once went into this small nook with books in a local games shop and showed me they have Diablo books. I wasn’t much of a reader. I read some books that I enjoyed, but moat of them I was made to read.

I wanted to know more about the world of Diablo so I bought it. I mever expected it to grab me as it did. When I came home, I was like “let me read a chapter and go to actually play after”. The boom jumped right into action with the first sentence and the PC was not turned on for 3 days (unheard of until then) as I used every free moment to read the book.

I bought other books in the series right after and then started to branch out to other fantasy series. This is the book that made me a reader. And I can thank a videogame for that.

I don’t know much about Raza but it sure sounds cool. The disconnect between legends always felt weird to me so a legend that interacts with others looks fun.

Engie is not my jam and ooze symbiont sounds like a meme, but it feels completely sane after Antiquary lol.

I’m really excited about Evoker the most. Ele is one of the professions I enjoyed the most. And my ele is a norn too so it is a great match.

I still have the first on the backlog so I’m good. I really only buy games that are special to me at full price. And at 70 or even 80, they would have to be extra special.

I was just thinking aloud. If they set a price and now slashed it before launch, it clearly wasn’t worth as much - with the corpos arguing they have to up the price due to cost… this is pretty much them showing it plain and simple it’s bullshit

I read that but it feels like they had two separate spec ideas they couldn’t quite flesh out so they just smooshed them together. I try to reserve my judgment but I don’t expect to like it.

No idea unfortunately. But it looks to be a fork. Not sure if I tried it or not before I ended up using Innertune.

But I know these alternative Youtube frontends gave me issues with the VPN, had to exclude also Tubular in the split tunneling for it to work for me.
