It’s old-ish and maybe not the greatest work of art on screen, but I love that it had a very unique world and characters and humour and it keeps on developing and changing throughout.

“Just delete it” or “scroll past” is not a useful response. Spam is infinite unless it’s blocked and/or punishable.
I would expect a container to be an easy solution there.

Along with backups, keep checksums and check for bit rot regularly! Also make sure that recovery works by testing.
