I just picked up a used Pixel and I’ve has no issues with IronFox, my partner uses it too. Did you forget to install the adblocker? Maybe enough time has passed since you last used it and it’s gotten better since then?

I agrree, it would, but I doubt that will ever happen while Google pays them exorbitant amount of money to be the default web browser.
America loves to create problems and then sell solutions. I hate it here, thanks.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What do I tell my (republican) parents when they constantly bring up expensive gas prices and put the burden on California because of gas taxes and "stupid" regulatory fees?
5·18 hours agoI had this same argument with some dipshit the other day, except they were blaming Biden and AlL tHe ExEcUtIvE oRdErS hE sIgNeD, didn’t want to listen how gas prices were not this bad literally a year ago. These people have lost all cognitive ability to discern facts from fiction.
Maine this article explains it: https://www.psypost.org/lower-cognitive-ability-is-linked-to-stronger-christian-nationalist-views-even-after-accounting-for-education/

Work Reform@lemmy.world•The reason the right are so anti Mamdani is obvious: they don’t want you to see what your tax dollars being put to work the right way would actually look like. Then everyone would want it everywhere.

11·4 days agoThis will end poorly, I guarantee that in 10 years a successor to Mamdani will alter the deal, screening over New Yorkers in favor of that developer. I hope he’s at least smart enough to not give them the land that the city owns.
Fun fact, spherical bastard is a synonym for billionaires.

131·10 days agoThey’ve been doing this for decades, this is just a new way to exploit open source projects. I remember years ago the controversy surrounding MongoDB when they changed their license because Amazon would sell MongoDB access through AWS without ever giving back to MongoDB’s open source work, and people were mad at MongoDB.
Open source projects should not be allowed to be used for profit by medium to large companies without a paying a percentage based royalty of gross revenue.

Isn’t dairy consumption declining precipitously so in the US, so much so that the government has paid dairy farmers to dump stock in order to keep prices from going into free fall?
