Political views aren’t like football teams or favorite colors. Not all political views are valid, should be protected or accepted. If there are people who want to restrict gay marriage because they find gay people disgusting, and on the other hand people who want to leave gay people in peace, why would any sane society tolerate both views?

The democratic obsession with protecting violence, hate and bigotry under the guise of “just an opposing opinion” is infuriating. I don’t think people of opposing views should have the right to argue for them. I want them to stop having those opinions or be removed. Politics isn’t something you can agree to disagree on, it’s a permanent struggle of life and death, poverty and wealth, peace and war. It’s not something I want to stay civil over.

I mean, the thing all people in this thread probably can agree on is that athletes should perform under some kind of flag. Common ground and all.

It’s worth noting that the “decline” option is very often downright mean or abusive, so you get guilt tripped into sex.

I feel the same; it’s probably because the way these characters are written in a very “cishet” way just do not evoke my experiences with romance or sexuality at all.

Who needs interesting writing when you can make sex and fart jokes every five seconds?

Completely agreed with the PCGamer article. I quit playing the game because it reminded me of Kojima’s handling of female characters and it just made me really, really uncomfortable that so many NPCs seem to be written only to be horny. BG3 genuinely, hands down, plays out like a porn game very often. I don’t want to play a porn game. I want to play a CRPG.

It is entirely unnecessary and forced and I can only wonder what kind of gamergate people were involved in the decision making there.

And what “economic policy” is that? People always pretend that “I am fiscally conservative” is some kind of gotcha. Conservative economic policies still kill.
