I see a lot of calls to just buy physical media but there are plenty of things that aren’t available on physical media. But you can still make your own and depending on what it is, you might not need much to make copies. Games on Steam, for example, can be backed up by copying the installed files and finding a crack if it actually uses Steam’s copy protection system (many games don’t need cracks and can just be copied and run; such as Kerbal Space Program).

You can do this with GOG games too, and not even worry about cracks because they have no DRM, allowing you to merely make copies of the installers themselves.

I haven’t played the first to really compare them, but as someone who hasn’t really been into the old school Squaresoft style RPG for a long time: It’s fantastic.

I have to admit, upon seeing the teaser for this I thought it was live action for some parts.

Hell yeah. I have been playing them again recently and it’s nostalgic, but I really just want more. Bonus if they fully voice a new one.

ElectroBoom did a video on metal in microwaves and found that smooth objects don’t really do much; but if it has a lot of weird angles or sharp edges, it is more likely to generate sparks. The proximity of other metal objects was something he tested, too, and there was no consistency in it.

My Samsung TV recently updated and now half the features it once had are gone or broken. I used to be able to turn my PS5 on and it would turn the TV on right to the correct input for the PS5 and since the update it doesn’t work. It used to go back to whatever the input was on when you turned it off if you just turned the TV on and now it always goes to some new landing app/TV station thing that doesn’t even fully load the TV part and they removed the options to change the start up parameters altogether so I can’t even go back to how it was.

The TV is almost 10 years old at this point and hasn’t been updated for about the last 5 and this one came outta nowhere a couple weeks ago and has made using the thing a huge headache. I see what they’re trying to do with this bullshit, but if they think I am buying one of their TVs again, they’re out of their fuckin’ minds.
