Oh that sucks! I just remember the guy who was coding it or whatever was trying so hard and he did so many fixes when I first got it FOR FREE and it was so endearing. But I guess I can switch over to a better one if he doesn’t care about it anymore. If he does, then I will die using Memmy.

I always used to say to other guys who were freaking out about something on a job site “HEY! YOU WAIT UNTIL AFTER WORK AND CRY IN YOUR TRUCK LIKE THE REST OF US!”

9 times out of 10 they laughed and calmed down a bit. And like it happens when your working camp jobs and long hours, everyone gets frustrated.

Some of the personalities of these AI’s are so fucking funny though. I mean yeah it’s slop and generated by llms designed by idiots but it also reminds me of reading Iain Banks books where the AI had similar personality quirks.

That’s not the punishment these people actually deserve.

I think the biggest issues Lemmy has with it, which are valid, boil down to environmental impact, AI being used to replace working class people instead of making their lives better, and the way it’s being used to erase art as a part of human culture. If those three things weren’t an issue I’d be less wary of AI.

I mean duh.

It’s just boring man. I mean watch it for as much as you can get into it for. But don’t expect a hilariously bad movie that ends up being fun because of how bad it is.

Well we didn’t realize it was going to be him sitting in the chair with that annoying UI the entire movie. We kept being like “OH HES GONNA GET UP” or “OH HIS DAUGHTER IS DYING OUTSIDE HE HAS TO GET UP AND SAVE HER” and then he got up and we were like “OH SHIT THE MOVIE IS GONNA START” but he was locked in the room and he went and sat back down. It was funny but horrible too.

It was so fucking bad. Me and the wife shut it off half way through.
