What’s up with the ‘u’? I get that the second character advances one position in the alphabet, that pattern holds until ‘q’ which is “qu”

Ok, but what’s the chance of being hatched on each continent? I believe that it’s a statistical insignificant amount penguins being born anyway
Except that wasn’t a serial port, it was midi, and the reason it was on the sound card was because the input was analog.
Your joystick was just two fancy potentiometers, and your soundcard decoded the voltage on the middle legs into a position.
Soundcards handled joysticks because they had the fastest ADCs.
Born ugly inside and out. In the top branches of the ugly tree, hit every fucking little tweak down, rolled down mount fat and straight into lake unpleasant personality…
Sooo if I put on 5 under shirts 4 hot chicks will press me against their breasts and softly strangle me? I knew I did it wrong in high school

Yes, which is why I explicitly mentioned the US. Do this shit in Europe and there would be hell to pay.

It’s 2025. You’re maintaining dialer software for an ISP. The software is written in Delphi or Visual Basic. It’s all you’ve done since 1995. You’ve got 5 years to retirement. Corporate announces end of life for dial up services.

There’s no way Tesla would win in court under any sane judge. If they bought the car outright and fully own it (i.e. didn’t lease it from Tesla), then that is the car owner’s property.
I’m fairly certain that it won’t go before a judge. If Tesla doesn’t have a forced arbitration clause https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arbitration_clause in their contracts I would be truly surprised.
The manufacturer can’t, effectively, sabotage your property without consequence.
I don’t own a Tesla and dont have access to a US contract, but it wouldnt be far fetched that there’s something in there about Tesla reserving the right to use a kill switch at their discretion.
I truly hope this is not real,
You and me both. But we live in a stupid timeline, and I can no longer tell what’s outrageously real and what’s rage bait.
I don’t write in my native Danish, gør jeg vel pikhoved? Because doing so would not be understood very well.
If you want to come off as an insufferable cunt with anger issues, who’s watched too many fantasy movies, you can keep writing in Scottish. But be advised that you can’t dictate how what you write is interpreted.
It’s a small thing, and irrelevant to your comment, and I’m sorry for any embarrassment I may cause you. You’re using the wrong word. When a car actively decelerates it is braking https://www.merriam-webster.com/grammar/brake-or-break-difference
Other than that, I do agree with you, I put about 50k km (30k miles) on the odometer each year, and the amount of shitty drivers out there is astounding. The other day I saw an elderly couple trying to enter a roundabout. It was a busy section of road during rush hour. Driver was looking both right and left, instead of just looking left like you’re supposed to. They had a clear left, but oh no car is entering the two lane roundabout to our right, we better yield … Generally roundabouts, it’s like people didn’t hear about them when training for their license.

If you choose Danish you get a separate key for it. That’s kinda handy when your first language uses that.

And here I thought I had it all figured out. But it does make sense. Doing it with an analog signal introduces noise and measuring pulse widths is going to be simpler.
