I suspect things are going to get even wilder ( hard to believe that is possible ) as the US lead up to the mid terms. The writing seems to be on the wall for Trump and Co. which is going to scary and dangerous for a lot of people. Honestly wont be surprised if he tries to use ICE to implement some sort of facsimile of martial law to prevent the county / finalization of the Vote. I don’t think they will wait for post midterms to try and prevent / change the outcome. Buckle in people , stay safe.
I’ll just say it: trump is clearly planning to cheat more than the regular amount and the americans are going to let him.
What exactly are people supposed to do to stop it? It turns out all the enforcement mechanisms we were taught about in school were nothing more than gentlemen’s agreements.
Exactly the only thing the Trump expose just how much or government rules and laws and the constitution are just pieces of paper that don’t enforce nothing.
Yup. They’re all rules, but if enough people stop following the rules the whole thing falls apart. In this case the real enforcement mechanism is impeachment and removal, but that obviously isn’t happening any time soon.
Completely unrelated, but here is something that trump said about a policital opponent once:
“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is. I don’t know.”
You know plan B is another coup and because its trump its going to be the exact same coup.
He’s gotten so lazy that he’ll just air the 2020 insurrection because he fell asleep during all the coup planning sessions
Nothing says transparency like “you’re not allowed to watch.”
No one should treat the US as a serious or mature entity until they can prove they’re capable of holding another legitimate election.
