Just like 16 years old people can’t vote because too young, 80+ years old people should not be able to vote, most of them are too distant from everyday reality of younger people to be able to take a wise decision for the community and also often stick with (way too) old ideals from their years

    I think they should be able to vote. I don’t, however, believe that they should be able to run for office. The US President is a Dementia patient and shits his pants while sleeping through meetings. There needs to be standards for who can control the nuclear arsenal. If you can’t serve in the military, you sure as hell shouldn’t be able to control it.
