We had some high winds earlier today, and a tree came down in my yard

It missed everything that was almost right in its path.

    Same, but many years ago. It could have hit my house, my neighbor’s house, or my car, but missed everything and fell like someone pushed it that way.

    I’ve been without power since 11:30 am (almost 12 hours) because a tree took out a power line three houses down. Thank god for this battery powered fan or I’d be cooked.

    (Current ETA from the power company is 4am tomorrow.)
