That sketch was a year old when Platner got the tattoo. Think a deployed marine was watching a lot of British sketch comedy?

Did the former abu ghraib guard that was all about military history never see a picture of any concentration camp guard? Has he never seen a movie about a concentration camp? Because that’s what the SS deaths heads units were, the people that staffed the concentration camps and the totenkopf was what they wore on their caps and their uniforms. Guess what’s on the cap of Heinrich Himmler? It’s not the “runes” it’s the totenkopf. The reason that sketch chose that skull is because of it’s prominence.

But yeah let’s have the blackwater merc with an SS totenkopf lead the antizionist yanks. Fucking bonkers.

I think literally everyone else was and it was almost certainly pointed out to him extremely fucking quickly, yet he refused to change it until he was running for office. Besides, its not like the show elevated some obscure symbol: they picked an extremely well known nazi extermination unit symbol because the joke is ha ha, can you imagine anyone wearing this and not knowing they’re evil? And yet they did, how ridiculous!

Why are you hellbent on giving the benefit of the doubt against all logic to a blackwater war criminal who joined the military to kill brown people?

Why are you hellbent on slandering someone as a war criminal, even though there has never been a single allegation that he committed a single act that would count as a war crime?

The dude was using a makeshift mortar to fire at densely populated urban areas even though using mortars where forbidden because the amount of civilians that got murdered was to high even for the us army standards.

And no, it is an obscure symbol, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise.

It was on one of the only two symbols on the head of Heinrich Himmler. It was on every camp guard uniform. It was so ubiquitous and well known, a british comedy show made a sketch about it 60 years later and everybody knew what they meant. Get the fuck outta here talking about the “obscure” SS units that manned the concencentration camps. Talk about disingenous…
