Wanting enough money to be financially secure is just wanting to be financially secure. That isn’t the same thing as wanting more money because you want more money.
Appreciate the reassurance, I just figure it may lead to wanting more money for the sake of it.
Especially when you see others around you getting richer and think “I deserve to be richer than them/my family should be richer than them because we’re smarter/worked harder/are better people”

Some people will react that way once they have enough money, but not having enough and wanting enough to be stable is a whole other thing.
