I bought some cheap Chinese 2-way radios. The packaging has a big American flag and a “Designed in U.S.A.” claim, which I suspect is bullshit given the company involved. Also, there are two Bible verses referenced. This smacks of pandering to a particular slice of conservative Americans. All I want is cheap radios for skiing with my kids next winter, not a reminder of my country’s socio-political bullshit.
If you really think complaining about this is going to make someone doing this sort of thing stop doing so, you definitely do not understand the American right wing these days.
And so letting others know vs. the company is more proactive.
Yep - the bottom line is what will get them in the end.
What do you mean? They accomplish almost everything they do through complaint campaigns. Nobody complains more than the right wing, and they are getting their way because of it. What am I missing? Please enlighten me.
If someone complains about such things in today’s political environment, odds are much higher that they are automatically dismissed as “anti-American libtards” and laughed at - all the while the company behind it will be patting themselves on the back for “owning the libs.”
