Canada is exporting to the US, not the other way around. We can’t tariff our own exports.
Or are you in the US? In which case do you seriously expect the Trump administration to tariff Canadian arms exports destined for Israel?
You absolutely can tariff exports. Usually a government would only do that in order to disincentivize those products leaving the country, so it would be unlikely to ever happen because the Canadian government ostensibly supports war and genocide, but export tariffs exist.
