What does RFK have to do with anything.
What does RFK have to do with anything.
I mean, read the article.
And to think this idiot came this close to forming the government.
Trump won with 32% of eligible voters.
On the contrary, FPTP is a gift to extremist minorities. That should be abundantly clear right now.
Have you tried the Internet Archive?
If they really wanted to get some insights into how the American right thinks there are other ways to do it (and it’s not hard, given that the American right has no problem in telling us exactly how they think). They certainly should not invite the guy to a closed-doors meeting with the cabinet, that we only find out about when he announces that he can’t attend. The first infuriating thing about this is that they invite him in the first place. The second is that they try to keep it secret from Canadians. Betrayal is perhaps too strong a word, but not by much.
There’s been a marked rightward shift in Canada’s political ecosystem, with the Conservatives going fascist, the Liberals becoming the true Conservative Party, and the NDP decimated by First Past the Post. I don’t think this reflects the population at all.
Actually I don’t need any of those things you mention. It may be a mistake to assume that Linux phones should imitate Google/Apple phones.
Actually no, the CBC is not covering the Israeli genocide as it should: https://breachmedia.ca/cbc-whitewashed-israels-crimes-gaza-firsthand/
A sales tax is not progressive and it affects lower income people especially. A better option is to raise the corporate tax rate, which Jason Kenney lowered to 8% and the ANDP campaigned on raising to its previous level of 12% in 2023.
Obligatory both-sides-ism by the CBC, to compensate for the demolition job that Daneille Smith is experiencing at these “panels”. We used to joke about Fox News begin “fair and balanced” but the disease has spread everywhere.
I’m surprised there’s no mention in this report of the possibility of electrifying and developing public transit across Canada. There is still too much emphasis on individual vehicles, which are very wasteful regardless of the energy source.
That’s a hard no on military conscription. As for public service tutoring kids or working in national parks, it sounds a lot like forced unpaid labour to me. You want people to work, you pay them.
Another purpose will be to discover “suspicious financial transactions or anomalous behavior that could indicate illegal activities.
That’s rich coming from Milei, who is currently being investigated for a blatant crypto scam as well as an old-school corporate bribery scandal.
An important argument very well made. The article is not only illuminating, it is also fantastically well written.
I did the same earlier this year for exactly this reason. Glad to know I’m in such good company.
Canada is exporting to the US, not the other way around. We can’t tariff our own exports.
Or are you in the US? In which case do you seriously expect the Trump administration to tariff Canadian arms exports destined for Israel?
You’re right. This is the actual article that should have been linked to: https://thenarwhal.ca/alberta-oil-and-gas-meeting-warburg/
