Even the earliest spell checkers were better! I write a lot on here to keep my sanity and several times a day I’m sure my spelling is correct but it gets flagged. About 6 of 7 times, I was right to begin with. Sigh. “Add to Dictionary”
Hadn’t been on Firefox for well over a decade and the Chrome engine turning to crap brought me home. Is there something I should add to fix this? Chrome was nearly flawless, as is every word processor out there. Just can’t get my head around how awful Firefox is at spell check, feel I must must be doing something wrong.
Wild, I don’t think I’ve ever paid the slightest attention to my browser’s spell checker. I didn’t even realize that it could autocorrect.
It doesn’t autocorrect, but with a spelling error you can right click and use a suggestion. But if all suggestions are wrong, you have to correct manually.
