Friday has one free practice followed by a sprint qualifying ‘shootout’.
The 100km race will then be held on Saturday morning before qualifying for the main Sunday grand prix.

So having only one free practice before parc ferme no longer allowing for setup changes isn’t addressed at all with this change, right?

It’s a good question. Though people already previously thought that drivers would take no risks in sprint, and that turned out to be false
