The Vektron family of bikes do look very capable. But at those prices, I might be better off campaigning for my city to add fully-enclosed bike lockers at the transit hub, so then I can at least park my existing bike securely. $3500 can buy me a lot of bus passes, bike shares, or Lyft rides once in the metro core haha
Yeah, Bromptons are nuts price wise. If you’re looking for a somewhat less expensive but still quality folding option, check out the Tern Vektron.
