my tactic if the site looks trustworthy is always:

• find the explanation for the distribution I use
• ignore literally all the text
• just copy paste and execute everything that looks like a command in order in the terminal works like 8/10 times

I never understood why ppl hate unkown calls. I always pick them up, more attention weee. Maybe it helps that I never get spam calls

I think both are true. People do have to put on work, but that people will do that is inevitable
