I absolutely love my LG, panel quality is unmatched, but wow is webOS terrible. Got an Apple TV and will never look back, worth every penny. Especially for how often I airplay it “just works” every time
I second handbrake. I don’t have experience with AMD but I use VTB hardware encoding on my Mac and it’s crazy fast and video quality is excellent
I returned my miniLED and opted for an edge lit air instead, aside from zone control for HDR content the display was a downgrade in so many ways, insane flickering, gets weirdly dark near the edges, and even though the contrast is better anything not pitch black exhibits the same amount of IPS glow as an edge lit screen, but instead of being uniform it’s blotchy and weird and it tries to match the content at a crazy low resolution of like 50x50
Wake me up when we finally get OLED
I have mine set to toggle orientation lock akin to the iPads of old. I’m LOVING it, and easily use it many times a day as I watch videos look at photos and play games, it’s especially useful in bed laying sideways and useful as sometimes it’s a game to see which corner control center is in
You can also have this automated with focus modes, I have a “party” mode that’s like a half-dnd when I’m being social, and it turns AOD off and a bunch of other stuff
I think game porting toolkit or crossover would be a better approach no?
I think an existing laptop or tablet is probably the best way to go here. Only hard part is a remote
Amazing game! Been loving it on PS5
I use an activated carbon filter for my bong, absolutely love it. They have them at most head shops I’ve been to, or you can get a grav online or something like that.
I absolutely love the form factor of my M2 air, but I don’t think performance is much different than an m1 model
Why send a check at all? Why wasn’t the money wired?
I miss 3D touch, the current setup feels like it was built for 3D Touch (peak/deep press opens the player, tap opens the app) but without it the flow is weird, and reverse would make more sense
I don’t have any lag people are talking about in low power mode ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I use it all the time cause I have really long work shifts and I can type and take pictures and videos etc perfectly fine, on my old 13 pro and this 15 pro max
it caps it to 60hz but isn’t fixed, retaining promotion/VRR. I think the “normie” way to do it is low power mode
Settings > accessibility > motion > limit frame rate
Rotation lock via shortcuts! It’s the best
I went 13 pro > 15 pro max and it is also my first time with AOD, I don’t have the behaviors you’re describing. Waking the phone works the same as my 13 (first tap wakes, second tap actions) unless it’s the home bar where I can now directly swipe even if the screen is asleep (underrated feature tbh). I also have no issues with my keyboard. You may have touch issues with your screen, might be worth looking into - do you have a screen protector?
