I like making things. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. I don’t see failure as failure; I see it as progress. Interests include space/rockets, keyboards, and other niche things.

Everyday Carry. What essentials do you carry on a daily basis?@sopuli.xyz•My tiny pocket tools for todayEnglish
1·3 years agoI just like carrying separate dedicated tools. Lets say you need to hold something down with the pliers and cut it with the SAK scissors at the same time, you wouldn’t be able to do that with integrated tools. So, the advantage is when needing to use two or more tools at once.

5·3 years agoGood idea. I sent them a message asking to reopen the sub temporarily but lock everything but a stickied post that notifies users about the Lemmy migration, and/or put it in the sidebar. Let’s hope they see it.

2·3 years agoYep, no more rubber bands. I had to find a better way.
It isn’t TPU although that would have been a good idea if I had any. It is PETG. The tools don’t fall out if you turn it upside down because they sit nice and snug in there. So far they’ve stayed in the case while in my pocket, even when turned upside down.

1·3 years agoIt’s a bit of a mix. Most of the frame is PLA, while the green bits are PETG.
It’s been going for well over a year now, and have not seen any warping thankfully.
