You’d need a time machine in order to go back in time to warn a presently deceased person about certain events before they happen. I don’t see how you needed someone to explain this to you.

SuperDuper@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How do I get property buyers to stop harassing me?121·2 years agoWhere do you live that any home is only worth 100k? Even looking 100 miles away I can only find undeveloped land or dilapidated, former hoarder nests for less than 150k.
It can absolutely be a major STI issue, many seniors assume that condoms are irrelevant in a post-menopausal time of life.
SuperDuper@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Do you think it's possible the universe itself has different states (i.e solid, liquid, gas)?5·2 years agoI don’t think I understand the question.
Senior citizens have sex, too, you know. A lot of sex, actually.
Depends. Do you prefer cooperative multiplayer or competitive multiplayer?
Yeah at my last apartment the people living above me would have WWE smackdown sex on the regular.
Just get 1 bathroom with 2 toilets

The really scary problem is that it’s most likely a line we won’t recognize until after it’s been crossed. It’s possible we’ve already crossed the line and are simply waiting for it to get out of control.

We keep treating active attempts to subvert democracy and/or overthrow the government like this and it’s going to bite us in the ass.

Ladies and gentlemen, I regret to inform you that I was not the lucky person this time.
SuperDuper@lemmy.worldto News@lemmy.world•Behind the border mess: Open GOP rebellion against McConnell9·2 years agoThe insane thing to me is how people are so willing to look past the open hostility towards democracy. It’s crazy that people see the insurrection, the false electors plot, the refusal to certify the election, etc and just say “yeah but I prefer their tax policies.”
That all makes sense, although I still find it odd that someone put that much effort into making someone else’s comic more readable.
In the original comic, the hexagon is off-panel in panel 3. Also several speech bubbles have been moved around. Who edited these things and why? Also super lame to crop out the comic’s title.

It’s not a puff piece. It’s full-on Russian propaganda tailor-made for American conservatives. The entire point is to draw even more conservative voters into the fold and convince them that the US needs to stop supporting Ukraine and move towards pulling out of NATO.
