The title uses the word public in a way that nearly everyone would read as referring to doing something like having sex in a public park. Not in the way that it is meant which could much more accurately be described as cummunal without the implication being that it will be visible to all.

Cognative disonance is a hell of a thing. It’s only ok to eat the “right” things with your hands and I would say most white people would not include burritos in that list. It’s partly that I’m sure and also to dehumanize them further. It’s not mentioned in the article but I would imagine they aren’t given silverware and have to eat with their hands. In american culture it is often seen as a lowly/animalistic thing to eat with your hands*. So they can continue to see them as not human because they “don’t eat like one”.

I think the AI bubble is really close to poping. If they can’t make a profit on it in the next 2 years (maybe sooner with how badly the economy is about to start doing) VC money will dry up and then they will have to up prices dramatically.
