Yeah, I remember, now we still have Windows being vulnerable, but in addition we also have untested changes pushed automatically to paying customers.
Forced updates are great!

Or don’t, because the original one is perfectly fine.
I never understood what people have against it.
The point is that if you convince yourself there’s no chance of succeeding, then maybe you won’t feel so guilty about not even trying.
Sure looks like a paywall to me, except you get a choice of a currency you can pay with.
Isn’t that about different channel though?
What did the piece claim?
Well, I’d expect a professional driver to anticipate and switch lanes early enough instead of hugging the left lane for no reason…
“Run out”? They never had any arguments.
It was pure unchecked greed and they’re panicking since the movement has a real chance of succeeding now.
They’d probably enjoy free publicity.
What does it matter which ad company is it? They’re all kinda shit.
It’s going to be really difficult in a standard setup.
If you really care maybe try something like Tails.
Seems like Organic Maps aren’t saints either.
Apparently the recent lack of updates on F-Droid is due to them including referral links for hotels and refusing to remove it or make it an opt-out feature…
Here’s a relevant issue if anyone’s interested: https://github.com/organicmaps/organicmaps/issues/7218

People like to meme about Nvidia being unusable on Linux, but before switching to AMD I was running various Nvidia GPUs for more than a decade and they were always rock-stable.
I guess the data that says they spent too much money on hydrogen tech that is now unlikely to pay off.
Pretty sure that’s exactly what the other guy said… “Selling” your data can be worth it if you get good service in return, which is what Google used to provide, but now it barely works half the time.
That’s a really bad argument. People smoking in public do force me to huff the second hand smoke.
Right, except if I knew beforehand which site has the results I need, why would I even use Google?
Better question, what kind of a scam company charges for redelivery?
It’s not only legal to assume, it’s a requirement to default to “no”.
Tracking is opt-in.
I doubt they do. They just want to be “secure” and are unwilling to admit setting the level at “highest” is bullshit.
It’s not like you can easily get a new number and circumvent this “security” measure if you want… /s
Well, you’ve spent 200h on it, so clearly you must enjoy it.
Nothing bad with enjoying a shallow game.
