- Since that post was’nt available for me atm, just reposting relevant Github blog : 1-Click RCE on GNOME - The TL;DR - libcue is a library used for parsing cue sheets—a metadata format for describing the layout of the tracks on a CD. it’s used by tracker-miners: an application that’s included with GNOME.The index is automatically updated when you add or modify a file in certain subdirectories of your home directory, in particular including ~/Downloads. To make a long story short, that means that inadvertently clicking a malicious link is all it takes for an attacker to exploit CVE-2023-43641 and get code execution on your computer.
- Usually that is the case. normally gnome stays in the testing repo for a few months. Gives enough time for extension managers to update extensions, and thus, us not having heavily broken workflows. It mostly will only be out as stable only after the gnome 45.1 release.

Icon theme : Papirus
-
Shell and GTK theme : Yaru Dark ( the ubuntu darkmode one )
 - For cursors, i use the default Adwaita. Even though i shifted from ubuntu to arch 7 years ago, i always liked the orangish theme of ubuntu.

1·2 years ago 1·2 years ago- It usually depends on the model. When i tried nous-hermes model, it used approximate ~5GB extra RAM. I use a system with 16GB ram.
1·2 years ago 1·2 years ago- This solves one of the most requested ideas in mozilla connect. Yaay
15·2 years ago 15·2 years ago- Whatever the devs can do now is only provide a local only solution if possible, because there is no support for it in serverside. So whatever u save, they will not be synced. - There is an open issue ticket in lemmy’s main github repo and are actually happening quite lot of conversations on how to implement it
2·2 years ago 2·2 years ago- If what you want to do is “copy all my communities from current instance to new instance”, then there is a tool called lasim. - Or did you mean to backup, like as to save all posts and subscribed users ?
4·2 years ago 4·2 years ago- I can see them in inbox, and in case of notifications, they only appear when the client is in foreground.
3·2 years ago 3·2 years ago- I can see replies to my comments and posts in infinity. The main issue is now that private messages aren’t implemented. Depending on the speed of developement, it will soon land
101·2 years ago 101·2 years ago- Well, the people who allow everything to happen until it becomes ‘their’ problem are more of the reason.
- Oh okay. I used charity for creating the pixel art and i didn’t bother much about the colour, since i thought mostly I myself will have to fill it out .
21·2 years ago 21·2 years ago- Oh. I didn’t understand what you really meant. If its that you guys would also love to fill in the pixels, go ahead. I’m currently marking the borders so that the pixels inside them can be coloured even without templates. Happy painting 😇
2·2 years ago 2·2 years ago- On android, i wish Xplore file manager had an alternative. Didn’t find anything to replace it. Dualpane file managers are the best. (btw, its one of the app where donating to dev really feels like he deserves it ).
3·2 years ago 3·2 years ago- Yeah. Without ublock origin, that site is practically unusable.

I just had to uninstall “Enhancer for youtube”, and reload the YT page. Not even ubock cache clearing was necessary. ( maybe different for different people )
