1·2 years agoI’ve been blogging since 1997 and prefer to write things on my own site, but yeah, the sort of “rule” on Reddit was to not link to your own blog. I disabled Google Analytics this year, and it should also be free of any ads, so I feel okay about linking to my own (long) posts about stuff, complete with plenty of photos and the occasional video, but I’m still not sure if that is frowned upon as “self promotion” even on the Fediverse…
I’ve been playing this on my Anbernic RG35XX recently and I’m terrible at it but it’s still a lot of fun.
Very cool! Adafruit posted a foot pedal project that had a potentiometer but I definitely like to see other options.
1·2 years agoI actually run Firefox for all my normal stuff and have a copy of Firefox Developer Edition I use for streaming music and videos so I can keep my “work” and “media” totally separate.
Hopefully negative behavior from the police will change in the future.

I do care, and I don’t ignore it… I just think that we can try to amplify the good things as well, if not more. The people who hate Milwaukee are always looking for more and more negative things, and those are some of the people who enjoy the benefits Milwaukee provides to the state of Wisconsin while at the same time condemning it.
The shootings in Milwaukee never seem to stop.
Really? I live in Milwaukee and have yet to witness one or be involved in one… so they can’t be going on all the time. I agree with the “post less of this type of stuff” sentiment.
We’ve got six printers at work and when the sheets wear out I use a fine steel wool and scrub them with acetone. It resurfaces them and gets a bit more use out of them before they need replacement.
Well, he’s got to keep up his “lying shitbag” reputation.
