Really my main grype with them is there lack of GPG support.

It’s why even if I lived in the EU, I would still refuse to use Google products because I don’t trust them, even if they’re technically bound by law to care more about protecting my data.

obsidianfoxxy7870@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Time to bash Americans againEnglish9·7 days agoThe fact that you can even be considered for deportation over that is so dumb. That’s a child, like not an adult with adult capacity.
obsidianfoxxy7870@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Time to bash Americans againEnglish8·7 days agoYea schools will always side with the bully or just look at the one incident in isolation not as a pattern of abuse.
Also the school system just doesn’t work, like one time I reported a kid for talking about bringing a gun to school and it got turned around to ME threatening to bring a gun to school. Then that was a whole feasco that me and my parents had to deal with.

In QBittorrent (windows) it’s under advanced. Then when you are torrenting something you can check your network traffic and on Windows you can see where it’s going and make sure it’s going through your VPN.

Like I don’t love the lead of GrapheneOS but I still use there project. But I strongly disagree with Protons ethics and many other issues so I avoid them. Really it’s a question of how much I want to care and how much I disagree with them.

I can very much agree with this. Like getting rid of Instagram and Tiktok has done a lot to help time not disappear in the same way.
