I would take a 20% pay cut in a hearbeat to have a nicer job. Then again, I know that the safety nets are a lot better in my country than in the US (?).
Have you made exact calulations on where you could save some money?

It’s so weird. Just don’t give your kids unrestricted internet access if you’re concerned about any of this…
My brother is 10cm / 4 inches taller than me. There is a random component to height too.
My bank and most others here require a smartphone authentication to log in, even if you use the website on the computer.
I’ve done no. 1 a few times for a month or so each. Some of the biggest problems with that are:
What usually won’t be a big issue
All in all, it’s feasible but quite inconvenient at times.
I find having a smartphone without a sim card at home to be a good compromise. It limits the time I spend on my phone, which in itself is nice, and subsequently decreases the amount of data that can be collected of me. Also, if you aren’t relying on your phone it doesn’t need to be nice and expensive.
Why would I want two different things in one?
Same question as, is 22 too young to have kids. Both are non-reversible and have consequences for the rest of your life.
Yeah but also these people can just hire a private chef to get both at the same time
That is the more likely true explanation. All of these rich and powerful people know each other, owe favors to each other, have dirt on each other etc. That makes them less likely to put anyone in their circle in danger.
There are a lot of jobs that legitimately make you miserable and/or sick. Don’t know if that’s the case here though.
