Yeah I think so. Pretty sure, you have to be very specific about where you place the wither. I think you have to place it under the pillar. I had never done that before and so it pushed through the portal when it appeared and escaped. If it pushes through the bedrock pillar it gets stuck. I think not sure though.

Sadly I am playing on my laptop so I don’t think it can run shaders but maybe I will load it up onto my PC and try it out.

The only time I did that was on a server and I did it wrong so it escaped into the end and I had to fight it and died and my server mates helped me kill it lol. It was so chaotic. Never again. I just do it underground in the overworld far away.

Oof that sounds tough! Thanks for the wishes. And with the rise of AI, I imagine being in the tech industry is quite scary these days. I keep hearing about layoffs. I do keep applying regularly so hopefully I will find work soon. I think in the summer there might be some opportunities hopefully I don’t have to wait that long though.

Wow that sounds tough! Glad you got a job in the end. Building without enchantments is horrible, lol. I always have to grind enchants before any major building. Though I don’t have a beacon yet and really need to fight the wither. Might do that one of these days. Would help out massively.

I am unemployed, lol. I just finished university and am staying with my parents until I find a job. I have applied for over 100 jobs and had 4 interviews, even a trial day. But it’s hard to find a job in this economy!

Thanks, dark oak might be better for the throne room. I did make a platform for it but it looks kind of out of place I guess. And there’s not much room in the hallway for it. I might change the chandeliers so I can make a bigger htrone. Maybe just hang the lanterns spaced out along the beams. I was also considering to add some banners or paintings. I will definitely add more texture to the floor and walls. It looks a bit dull. Might try a mangrove floor to match the red carpet. Outlining the carpet is a good idea and would definitely help tie it together with the throne. I appreciate the advice! I will try it out.

Ok thanks I will try it and see and thansk for the idea. I love welsh castles. I went to Castell Rhuddlan and Beeston Castle. Well Beeston is technically not a Welsh castle but close enough lol.

I never farm witches, lol. But yeah they are cause they require going to the Nether. And chorus fruits are not fully AFK-able. You have to manually place them. Plus I still think they clash too much with the build style since I am going for a medieval style. But I might use lantern or shroom lights.

But it’s kind of on a hill so not sure if a moat would look good or not? But I might try that out and see. Its’ a cool idea and would let me make a drawbridge since there is a gatehouse already.

Never heard of Herault carpets. I only play on Vanilla. But I will try different textures perhaps. I find that candles flicker and dissapear in screenshots. Only good for seeing up close.

I wanted to keep it simple and not overload the details. It’s a small room so it would feel too busy too much colour. But I might try copper bars instead of oak fences. And maybe different bushes, many thanks.
