  • While it is true that in a democracy the ruling class would not have to rely on mass cheating, the USA went there.

    One could argue that mass cheating has been part of regular politics since the 1800s, and made worse recently by voting machines run by private companies using closed source hardware and software.

    The USA has sunk so far down below the democracies of the world, that it will take extra steps to correct, just to get back to the issues the other countries see day to day.

    But, the average voter will find it hard to admit they have not only been tricked once, but twice (that it is a sham, and the mechanism of the sham is a scam). I fully expect the vast majority of people interested in the politics and reformation of the USA to ignore the sketchy vote counts for at least another generation, if not more. However, there cannot be any real reform until it is addressed.

    To convince people there are other options, including socialism, they need to be shown their true chains.

    But because people will refuse to see this, it means the only true path forward is not using the current system at all.
