But what I was telling to portray, is that there are an infinite number of ‘parameters’, if you will, that a flower contains. And sure, mathematics can describe each of those parameters. But we will never be able to quantify it completely, as there are an infinite number of ways to relate flowers existence, and to any and every other ‘thing’ in the universe. Even if the mathematics is still there as the underlying building block.

Just like I can language to ‘invent’ or ‘discover’ a new sentence in order to describe anything and everything. But I won’t be able to describe it completely, as there are an infinite number of ways to describe something.

No one is saying that we don’t have a carbon footprint. All life does.

But we, as a society, need to first focus on the things that are most destructive. In this case, fossil fuel infrastructure and the institutions keeping it in place.

I was just thinking the same thing. Where does that leave Canada? Do they join the EU or get eaten up by the US?

Americans are the ‘immigrants’ on this continent, and they are using their customs and border enforcement to arrest people who are natives to the continent. It’s ironic that a team designed to deport immigrants is arresting people who have been here longer than the country has existed.

People should be rioting though… How else do we stop our own government from kidnapping and killing our neighbors?

The only other effective solution I can think of is citizen sabotage, but that’s like rioting in the shadows.

Look into co-housing communities or eco-villages. There are ways to do this even within our overly bureaucratic system.

While I agree that non-violent is the way to go, I think we need to change our definition of “violence.”

Property destruction should not be considered violent. Especially when precautions are specifically taken to ensure that no people were harmed during act of property destruction or sabotage.

On the other side of things, actions such as destroying wildlife habitat or polluting the air, water, and soil systems of the Earth should be considered “violence.” It is violence towards all of humanity, and towards life itself.
