I just recently finished Liberal Fascisms by Slavoj Zizek. It’s a collection of essays. He’s an excellent writer and is always enjoyable.
I just started Fatal Purity: Robespierre and the French Revolution by Ruth Scurr. So far it seems pretty interesting.

Last spring (not this past spring, but last year) I came across a fledgling crow on the ground when I was walking my dog. It was on our normal dog walk route and I checked in on it daily, giving it space. After 3 days or so I gave it some water and did some reading about fledgling birds and all that. After it had been on the ground for a week I called an animal rescue and they came and checked on it and sure enough, it was injured so they took it.
Just about every day the crows caw and click at me when we walk. I don’t know if they recognize us and are scolding us or if they’re just doing crow things. I hope they dont think too poorly of me, I was trying to help.

I wouldn’t want to join to be outspokenly against anything and I understand the necessity for party unity. It absolutely makes perfect sense that disagreement should be handled internally and decided upon within the party.
But here is where I differ. I cannot bring myself to believe in a system where there is any centralized authority or hierarchy. To me it flies in the face of freedom and liberation. However, and I may be making the mistakes of the CNT/FAI, Makhno, etc…, I also believe that we must collaborate and coordinate to move toward a state-less society.
I’d love to discuss it with you. I am always open to discussion, reading, etc…
I’ve been looking at the PSL for a while now, but I am an anarcho-syndicalist and am not sure how I would be received. I WHOLLY believe that there has to be unity on the left, and I agree with a lot of ML thought, I just don’t even know if I would be an acceptable candidate to join.
I guess that’s to say: Do you know their thoughts on anarchists and having anarchists working within their org?
Have you ever seen Jon Stewart’s demolition of Crossfireon Fox? It was a similar show and Stewart wrecked them so badly that they never recovered. It was glorious.
