Oh, also, mid-pandemic I played A Short Hike, and while not a long game, it was an incredible escape for a while.

Lately, it’s been Factorio. It’s nice to set all my worries aside and pick up an entirely new set of worries regarding factories and the growth thereof.
Damn, 8 feet deep. That hole don’t fuck around.

Not exactly sure how that speed loss correlates to the sheer size of these models, though. I have to imagine it would run insanely slow on a CPU.
Yeah, I was tempted to try K2 + SE, but the last ounce of my sanity kicked in at the last second. It’s definitely next up, though.
I’ve heard this pack can be overly complex, but I know one day I’ll give into it and never be seen again.
Playing my first non-vanilla run with Krastorio right now, and it feels like I’m playing a whole new game. I can basically kiss my life goodbye… again.

Did Terry Davis really coin it? I’m too lazy to fact check right now, but I wonder what the story is there.
Afaik from my time on 4chan, the phrase came from undercover FBI agents on the platform being so obvious they “glow”.

This conversation is a small example. My previous messages in this comment chain were generated by ChatGPT.
I’m too lazy to keep that up indefinitely, but at this point you can decide for yourself whether it was convincing enough.
Well, fair point about the spam bot creators, but in my experience, even in one-on-one chats, it holds up. I’ve had some pretty smooth conversations without anyone suspecting it’s AI.
Nah, not really! I’ve chatted with people using ChatGPT, and most couldn’t tell. It’s pretty slick, blends in well with natural conversation.
Have you tried volunteering? Gets you out, you’d meet people with similar interests, and to top it off you’d be doing good in the community!

You’re right about Canada. I debated whether to include that point, but being Canadian myself, it felt wrong not to mention it.
Saying “peace out or I’ll nuke you” is literally the simplest possible way to start a war. You can’t just walk into a building waving around a gun and expect things not to escalate. We’re lucky things happened to work out the way they did.
Not if it’s money extorted from people under the threat of homelessness, not particularly, no.
