  • I love the kind of woman that will actually just kill me. You know, when I left the house today I was thinking “Damn, I really hope some hot chick paints my brains all over some fucking hallway.” And here we are.

I mean, really, just absolutely destroy me. I’m talkin’ full on, watermelon in the thighs level carnage.

And I want it to scare the shit outta me. I mean I hope I piss myself. I hope I piss myself and you call me your little “peepee pisspiss boy.” I want you to fuck me up. I mean I want you to make me your bitch. Your little peepee piss myself bitch.

I want it to get embarrassing. I mean like… weirdly embarrassing. Unsanitary, too. We should be entirely different people, by the end of the first eight hours.

Do you understand what I’m trying to say here? I mean, l’m a real freak. I’m not normal.

Ma’am… Please… You have to crush me.

  • I’ve also never understood things like this from a marketing perspective. Like this is definitely dissimilar, but even if it were an on the nose deal with like “Sauron Sauce” or whatever as one of their offerings, you’re still getting recognition.

Even if the Tolkien estate were concerned about the cheapening of their “brand”, who tf cares? It’s obviously not about that, because I just checked and there is a line of LOTR Funko Pops for fuck’s sake.

And if a work like The Lord of the Rings can’t stand on its own (with regard to seriousness and artistic value) with the addition of kitschy wing trucks, I don’t know what else would.

Seems like a win-win to me, but then again, I fucking hate trademarking and patenting laws in general. Intellectual property is a pretty spurious concept at best and courts around the world have consistently shown it is a tool used to quash innovation, promote stagnant wealth, and keep the heel on the middle and lower classes.

  • A friend recently recommended the Persona series, so I think I’m gonna have to go with Persona 5 Royal.

Something that made me happy this year (and gaming related) is that we finally got a remote Dungeons and Dragons group going with that friend, our significant others, and our mutual friend group. After a little hemming and hawing over how to set it up, we went with Foundry Virtual Tabletop (which we find suits our needs). It’s good to be DMing for these friends and new faces again!

For a game recommendation/story, our tabletop group had been bandying around throwing in some one shots to try out some different systems and Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader came up.

I’m pretty excited to test it out and recently found that Owlcat released a Rogue Trader crpg. I’ve been pretty busy near the end of the calendar year, so jumping into some science fantasy lore to share with my girlfriend has been great. I’ll have to talk with the guy GMing that one shot about the similarities between the crpg and the tabletop system, but we’re already brainstorming characters for the one shot and beyond (if we like it).

Hope this reply finds you all cozy and enjoying the season. This giveaway is a really cool idea and good luck everyone!
