That’s tuning, and that’s different. There’s tradeoffs with tuning besides the obvious more wear.

Why would you read the article when you could just complain in the comments?
IMO Linux’s biggest problem is choices. Normal people don’t really want choices, they just want the one, and it needs to work. The second you tell them there’s 17 different options, and each one has 9 sub options, and each sub option has 4 more sub sub options they just tune out. Got a problem? Google “Linux fix XYZ” and there’s 300 different fixes and maybe one of them works. Or maybe it doesn’t.
With windows there’s 1 or 2 windows. You get what Microsoft thinks is best. Don’t like it? Maybe someone’s made a tweak. But odds are too bad, suck it up. And then they move on with their life.
Wait wifi doesn’t work with the Surface Kernel?
Yeah my first guess was lack of port forwarding. If neither you, nor the other people are port forwarded then you can’t establish the connection.
I’m curious if the torrent protocol could be updated to allow a Tailscale style NAT traversal so port forwarding wouldn’t even be needed. That would be a game changer, but would probably add wayyyyy too much overhead for the tracker to manage.
Multiple servers with fallback. Either a proper failover setup, or just use DNS.
It learns a bit as you type. But if you want it to forcibly recognize a word go to settings > general > keyboard > text replacement and add the words it won’t recognize. You can even add a shortcut for common typos. But it will hard override any “well you touched the edge of this key but I think you actually meant this” so use the shortcuts carefully.
Someone commented elsewhere it’s some crypto scam.
I loved the servers that were 24/7 metro, no drags etc. some of those were (and still are) my favorite. Or pistols only, no Glock 18. When you get rid of custom servers you get rid of that custom experience.
They’ve finally started removing them from boards, and I’m annoyed. I want my NKRO.
Most of them are internally connected via USB apparently so there’s no difference. Not that the average e sports player would even notice.
What did you do to your phone? I’ve never had any issues with mine trying to autocorrect die.
You know google searches are personalized right? Not everyone sees the same thing.
It’s a youtube video so whatever youtube is these days. I tested with this M1 Macbook Pro and it was using about 7 watts so 3 watts more is pretty good for pretty much anything. I think my 12th Gen. laptop typically draws about 13-15 doing the same thing, but with a much dimmer screen.
Free speech protects you from the government oppressing your speech, not a private corporation.
I’m literally dual booting windows 11 and Linux right now. It actually just worked. After install it just asks you to approve the key, you confirm it, and boom it’s done.
This weird hatred around secure boot is baffling to me.
Secure boot isnt even new, it’s been around for over a decade. Most Linux distros work well with it. It’s like the weird hatred with UEFI when it first became a thing.
I heavily modified my Ender 3 pro, after breaking it for the last time I said fuck it and I’m getting a printer with all the features I want built in and not fucking with it. I’m perfectly content with my Ender 3 S1 pro. Auto bed leveling and direct drive are pretty much the only things I want, and it’s got them and was cheap.
Now the only thing I modify is my gcode.
Similar, and that’s the problem. Google half assed copied Apples swipes, but had to maintain the same functionality as the 3 buttons so it’s jank as hell. Every time they copy Apple they do it in a worse way, instead of trying to do their own (good) thing.
A lot of dailyable tunes actually make the car more efficient, not less. Engine wear, and knock are the limiting factors.
