Ah, that’s much better then, those porcelain filters suck. Your grinder is fine, should be able to make delicious coffee. I’d recommend focusing on grind setting to make sure that you are hitting your time targets, and using very hot water. James Hoffman has some good videos on pourover techniques that would be worth watching. I think he even has one about using kettles without a long neck. Also, make sure your beans are fresh and high quality.

In my experience, porcelain filters are unsuited for coffee extraction. They allow water to pass way too slowly and the pores get clogged making them even slower. Get something that allows you to use a standard paper filter. Also, make sure the water is boiling and stays boiling. A long neck kettle will help, but isn’t strictly necessary. The grinder you use is probably the most important part, you didn’t mention that. Stirring is necessary.

PC Master Race@lemmy.world•Sony Says Game Discs Not a Big Factor of Differentiation Between PlayStation & PC; Can Coexist "Peacefully" With PCEnglish
12·1 day agoMan, Sony has a RUDE awakening coming. Really the only thing consoles have going for them is ease of use and the steam machine/deck have just destroyed that advantage. People will not put up with a $70 price tag for a game they can get at a steam sale for $30. Maybe their exclusives will carry them, but those seem to be getting less and less.

10·1 day agoIt’s easy to see the effects of users moving to the fediverse. Reddit has been sad since it nerfed /r/All. In fact, it seems like a thinly veiled attempt to control what its users see under the guise of providing a more tailored user experience. For me, the overall effect is that it’s homogeneous, boring and I don’t want to be there anymore.
