You can either lock these and make them not update as frequently or use more stable software instead.

I do think that the book is highly critical of lawfuless and civilization. The kid goes out into the Mexican desert as a scalp hunter a pseudo legal profession and quickly the gang goes from killing indians to killing Mexicans to killing whomever. I think this shows how thin the veneer of civilization really is.

The kid is a kid and is easily mislead into a life of violence first by the army guy and later by the gang and the judge we never hear his inner monologue so we don’t really know how he feels about what he does. We do know that his heart contains some mercy for the victims of the gang the judge explicitly hunts him down for that mercy.

I see the book a critique/satire of the western genre. I agree it explores and questions the nature evil. But I don’t think it says much about how to tame it.

It does not bother me but I also don’t really like or use the label. Maybe because of this phenomenon or because of the general lack of education I find that when I tell someone I’m autistic I get very poor support versus just explaining what I struggle with (eye contact, physical touch, taking things literally). You are right I should’ve used could rather than would. While proton is very good there are very much performance penalties especially for older games due to the adress space nightmare it becomes. I suggested lutris because someone smart probably figured out what the issue is and has created a wine environment that handles it.

I think cs2 has a native Linux build available so that would explain why you get better fps there. Unfortunately I’m not familiar enough with wow to be of much use there. If you launch those games thru steam do they still use the blizzard launcher for authentication? I know some of my friends have had success with lutris for wow so you could try that.

No longer a NEET but when I was I had very few bills. My parents paid for most of my living expenses and other things I funded by boosting other players in videogames mostly league of legends and RuneScape.
