That is very cool! Wishing you luck with your projects!

I find cleaning and organizing annoying in the moment, but they leave me feeling kind of calm/soothed afterwards. And having a clean environment feels much nicer. Wishing you luck with your big project!
I love going to the gym too! By dumbbell press, you mean overhead press? I love OHP too. I started going to the gym purely to get stronger but I started seeing aesthetic results way sooner haha, I have actual visible triceps and I think that’s awesome
I got injured. Primary hobby is judo, secondary hobby is lifting - both off the table. I’ve just been reading to pass the time but it’s just not as fun.
As for why I like my main hobbies: they’re just super fun. Great way to boost mood, get hungry, sleep well. And the amount of effort you put in gets you directly proportionate results, which is something that’s not true for much of life.
Everything on that list is super intriguing, but I really wanna hear about your hot pepper project 👀
That sounds like a great pastime. Do you learn through self-study or are you taking a class?
Exercise is the thing I can’t do (got injured, only doing physio exercises rn). Once you get into a routine, it’s a lot of fun.
The first of many concerts, right? Have fun!
Good idea, I made a post 💡
I’ve been thinking of setting some goals for the month. I lost my primary hobby (temporarily 🤞), so I’ve just been reading and spending ungodly amounts of time on Lemmy & Reddit. I want to spend my time in a more healthy and fulfilling way…
What are some goals you all are working towards? What are your hobbies that make you feel fulfilled? What’s something that makes you look forward to the (near) future?
I got a car wash for the first time in a year and my car looks brand new. Worth it! OTOH, I have to take it in for repairs next. Dreading the bill. Wish me luck…
Also, if anyone remembers my comment in the last thread, I decided to use my orchestra ticket for the next concert of the season :) It’ll be a gift to myself.
My ideal is probably 1-2 events per weekend. Unfortunately I need time for chores and errands, and it inconveniences+stresses me out if they don’t get done, otherwise I’d be up for more socializing
About a year ago at an airport. Coffee. Was cheaper than the cafe.
Lua is pretty fun.
Trying to decide if I should go to the orchestra this weekend. I have a ticket, but nobody to go with. Should I do it?
Tryin recipes that are new to me 😋
